postcards from Mexico

White sandy beaches and turquoise waters with rustic straw umbrellas dotted around, stall after stall of brightly coloured souvenirs and lots of palm trees, Mexico was the tropical getaway that I’d been dreaming of for some time. With over a month now since our return, I thought that it might finally be time to share some snippets and highlights from our time away, starting with some postcards from our trip. No words needed.

A week was sadly not enough to see everything there is in the Riviera Maya but the above were some of the highlights from our holiday. I hope that you’ve enjoyed this little snapshot, and look out for some more posts coming soon; I have a ton of photos from this trip so getting them organised has taken longer than I anticipated!

Have you been to Mexico before? What are your travel plans for this summer?

Your photos are absolutely stunning Milena! What do you use to edit them? & also have you changed the layout of your blog again?! I haven’t been to Mexico but I would love to one day. My summer plans are getting a lot of university work done (unfortunately), working more on my blog and YouTube channel, going to China for a month to study Mandarin and do a bit more travelling, and also Copenhagen in September!

Aww thank you so much, Viola! I edit them in Lightroom 🙂 It has changed a little as my hosting subscription was running out so I had to change hosts and not everything copied over! Mexico is definitely a must-visit! Oh noooo does your course go over the whole summer or is that preparation for next year? Going to study Mandarin in China sounds really exciting! And I’ve heard such lovely things about Copenhagen – definitely on my travel list for the near future! I’m looking forward to your travel posts from these places already!

This looks stunning! I currently have nothing booked for the summer and sadly I think Mexico is a little too far for me to travel this year, but it will definitely be getting added to the wish list of places to go!

Gorgeous photo diary of your trip to Mexico, it looks like such an interesting place to visit. The photography is very professional and also describes your time there very well. One of the main things for me when visiting new places is taking photos, as it’s my passion and hobby. It was fun to read/view this post, thanks for sharing! 🙂 xx
